Social inequality is a historical and structural problem and one of the most important challenges of our time. At Lab we are breaking down barriers and building bridges to change realities and generate a positive impact. When we dream and act together, a lot of good things for many people will come true. At Lab we are breaking down barriers and building bridges to change realities and generate a positive impact. When we dream and act together, differences are overcome and we take better care of each other.

This text is almost a memo, a simple thank you to such incredible people and giant dreams, straight to the point: the purpose of the Lab is great, very challenging, some would even say impossible. When achieved, many good things for many people will come true.

The path is not easy when we start something from scratch and in unequal conditions, whether in our personal lives or at work, this is known from the first day of our startup and in the history of many of us. This parallel is what unites the Labers. This is exactly the combination that made many people change the world and impact different social realities. Inequality and problems ignored by some - awaken in others new solutions and an unstoppable desire for change. We've been here at Lab for almost six years, contradicting statistics, paraphrasing the Brazilian poet and rapper, Mano Brown.

To promote real change, we went in search of looking inside, getting to know people, organizations and products with their respective unique needs of “inside out first” and, it is there… in the curved lines of the heart, that we find even more strength to dive into each challenge and contribute at least a little to improving the world we live in and want to leave to those who come after us.

In recent years, we have built and reinvented products and technologies for health, education, government, retail, banking, social projects… the Tech "plus" list something that we have changed continues to grow and we are deeply grateful to our customers, users and supporters for each opportunity.

Lab is finally, in form, function and spirit, the answer to a society that can coexist with more equity, inclusion, zero tolerance for racism, a lot of faith in people, gender equality, LGBTQIA+ support, everyone together and enjoying, innovation without being boring - to be the startup that breaks barriers - without being a product that no one needs, diverse and united people - without the blah blah blah of wearing the shirt or "we are family" - Lab is the future full of hope, with flaws and successes, nothing perfection, each with a point of view that adds up and multiplies, smart economy, where we help each other from each part to a whole - it's an increasingly optimistic and sustainable world - we can live here forever (we are working hard for this ) is simply data magic… brinks… is a symbol that goes beyond work.

We are taking small steps but, certain of the product that will take us even further with the internationalization of Lab - Urbanmark is getting there, it is the realization that when we have opportunity, investment, data, a team passionate about solving complex problems, very coffee and technology - we can shape the future. Our deep dive in transforming the planet gets even more insane when our seed - Araucaria.IO grows! We will impact the lives of thousands of children through a platform that unites metaverse, STEM, climate agenda and social action.

The road is long and that's ok, we know that to solve some of the most relevant problems of our generation we have to keep looking inside ourselves and in each challenge we face - different answers, keep questioning patterns, expanding understanding and discovering new directions.

None of this is possible without the perfect combination of team, products, customers and investors who share our vision and understand that the journey is long-term and full of twists.
